My research focuses primarily on the effects of Adapted Physical Activity (APA) in patients with aggressive cancer and cachexia. At the clinical level, I assess the physical effects (muscle mass, muscle strength, endurance), behavioral outcomes (physical activity level and diet), and psychological aspects (quality of life, perceived fatigue, body image) of an APA program and its components (frequency, intensity, duration, type). I also investigate the factors that facilitate or hinder engagement and adherence to the program, as well as the long-term maintenance of physical activity.
